Kyrie Kristmanson

Kyrie Kristmanson is one of the most unexpected voices to emerge from the new generation of Canadian songwriters. Her 2010 album Origin of Stars released by NØ FØRMAT!/Universal launched her into the international music scene where she has been hailed for her elemental and inventive musical vision. Currently based in Paris, Kyrie is pursuing her passion for the female troubadours of 12th and 13th century France, which will culminate in a song cycle co-written with composer and cellist Vincent Ségal, also a musical collaborator of Sting's. Kyrie is delighted to be back in Canada this summer to premiere songs from this project and also her upcoming 2012 album.
